- Loving wood as I do I enjoy using every piece of it in some way, so I've turned much of my smaller stock into custom cutting, bread and cheese boards. Lots of folks like the clean Scandinavian look of my boards (guess my ethnicity is showing) and every one of them is unique.
- The greater percentage of these boards are of walnut or cherry with curly and birdseye maple, paduak, cocobolo, sycamore, lacewood and other woods thrown in for spice. Each board is unique. I rarely repeat myself. All the boards are thinner than most boards which make them light and easy to haul around. Thicknesses vary from 1/2 inch to 3/8". Each board is individally sized; the dimensions will be to the right of the number and price. Each board is identified by the information listed under the board. Prices range from $15 to $35. There are a number of pages of boards so if you don't find what you like on the first page, keep going. You are buying what you see. The photo will be removed once the board is sold.
The boards are all finished with mineral oil which can be renewed at any time. Take time to browse through the selection. They are really beautiful but meant to be used.
If you are sending an order in and would like to reserve a particular board or boards, email me with the numbers you'd like to reserve so I can hold them until your check arrives.
I am currently not able to offer custom sized boards. The only boards available are the ones on the web

My wife, Karen Nuzzo is an excellent weaver and quilter who put her development in those mediums on hold while she homeschooled our two boys and pursued other activities. She's starting to get back at it with this initial offering of handwoven potholders, dubbed "the world's best little potholder." They really are great - large, almost 8" square, durable, washable, colorful, beautifully woven and long lasting (we know folks who have kept theirs for 20 years!) They make wonderful gifts and enliven any kitchen.

Karen has also spent the last 6 months making art quilts which were on exhibit at Hollins Universty Library as part of her Master's in Arts and Liberal Studies degree. Some of them are for sale. They are designed as wall hangings. One of them you can see below. You can see more of the quilts on the web at karennuzzo.com
