| All the instruments below are only meant to give you an idea of some of the various combinations that are possible. LCs are a little different as they don't have frontal soundholes which make my other Custom dulcimers so distinctive. They can still be quite handsome. This lack of frontal soundhole does not affect the instrument acoustically since there is a soundport in the front rail and a handhold in the back which together act as soundholes. All new instruments will not have the angled wooden string anchor for the 10 courses of the left most treble bridge but instead will utilize a stainless steel bar which can be seen in the photos below. String spacing is 7/8" on center on the instruments below although I am now offering the instrument with 1" string spacing. |

![]() The above instrument is a 8/19/18/8. All new orders will be 10/19/18/8s. This particular instrument has a Birdseye Maple frame and matching pin panels, black Redwood soundboard, with Cardinal wood trim and Paduak bridges. The dampers are of Cardinal wood as well. It sports the new way of anchoring the courses on the left most treble bridge and is pure LC in its layout. This instrument has 1" string spacing but it can be had in either 1" or 7/8". |

| Dampers are available for all versions of my Custom LCs. Dampers damp all strings except the 8 treble courses on the left most bridge. These strings don't ring enough to warrant the extra hassle of damping them. |
