Examples of 3/16/18/9 Custom Performances
The instruments below are meant to give you an idea of some of the possible combinations of woods. The selected woods could be used on any of my hammered dulcimer models, Linear Chromatics or Tsimbls.

This size instrument is by far my most popular. It can be had in either 7/8" or 1" string spacing.

This instrument has a natural redwood soundboard, cherry frame, goncalvo alves pin panels with paduak bridges and trim
This dulcimer was a tough one. It has a walnut frame, a redwood soundboard stained jet mahogany, ziricote pin panels with cherry bridges and dampes. The binding was curly maple with abalone inserts.

This instrument has a natural redwood soundboard with a mahogany frame, birdseye pin panels and ebony bridges with mahogany dampers.


This instrument has a redwood soundboard made black with lacewood pin panels, curly maple frame and cocobolo bridges.
