Examples of 16/15 Custom Hammered Dulcimers
The instruments below are meant to give you an idea of some of the possible combinations of woods. The selected woods could be used on any of my hammered dulcimer models, Linear Chromatics or Tsimbls.
This 16/15 Custom has a birdseye maple frame and matching pin panels with a natural redwood soundboard. Bridges and trim are Cardinal wood.
This 16/15 Custom has a cherry frame and goncalvo alves pin panels with a redwood soundboard (made black). Bridges and trim are Paduak.
This 16/15 Custom has a mahogany frame and brazilian cherry pin panels with a redwood soundboard (made black). Bridges are maple and trim curly maple.
This 16/15 Custom has a cherry frame and santos rosewood pin panels with a natural redwood soundboard. Bridges are maple and trim are curly maple.
