This section contains some resources which I have used over the years which have served me well and I can recommend. Some of the links are affiliate links which if you use will help support the cost of my website.
- I have used 1and1.com for years for the hosting of my website. Very reliable, great support, and inexpensive! Click on this image link to check them out.
- I also highly recommend wordpress which I used to develop my blog. Wordpress is also an excellent platform for creating full websites. 1and 1 fully supports WordPress installations.
- If you decide to develop a blog or website or both on WordPress, I strongly recommend two sources of themes. Themes from these sources will cost you a little money but it makes WordPress more customizable and shorten’s the process of individualizing the look and functionality of your site. There are free themes but they are not as well supported. The choices of free and paid themes can be overwhelming. After looking at a lot of sources, I ended up selecting the theme Big Feature from Theme Forest because of its simplicity. The two sources I recommend are below:
